  • I have been extremely busy this last December with my day job, my classes and my professional dating that I could feel my nerves calm down from the moment that I have been able to afford a break. This partly explains why I was not updating my blogs. The other reason is that I was writing a lot of papers in university last semester, so a little break from writing anything was welcome. I am not a spontaneous blogger: I like to make sure that my entries are well-written and really worth posting before putting them up publicly.

Those past holidays were the most enjoyable I’ve had in years, probably because I do not have any major issues to deal with at the moment. I have decided a while ago to stop putting up with people that are inadequate for me, and even though this makes my circle of friends smaller, it makes me feel much better with myself. My actual website has been more successful than expected: it brings me better and longer dates with gentlemen that are more compatible with me.

I have indulged in things that I couldn’t while my semester was still going. My friend and I had a fondue one evening. After we ate she made me plug my old Nintendo console and we played the very first Mario Bros game. I was surprised to be able to play decently, considering that this thing was left unplugged for years. Talk about a blast from the past! And to think that a Nintendo would sell for something like $299 when it was first commercialized in the eighties… now it is possible to buy the same thing for maybe $40 in a flea market.

On a more serious note, I have forced myself to clean up my lifestyle habits: I have cut down on coffee and stopped being flaky when it comes to healthy eating and exercising. I know that I am able to do better, especially in the fitness department. A beefed up training program is on the way for me.

Now, time to go back to a regular routine. Those holidays went by so fast that I cannot believe my next semester starts next week. Inquiries are starting to come in again, but in spite of the addition of a more extensive FAQ to my website, I still get emails with questions that I have already answered. I received another email from “Candy”, urging me to repent for indulging in an essential and healthy hobby. On the positive side, there are a couple of promising quality gentlemen that I am looking forward to spend time with.

I wish you all a very happy 2006 filled with anything and everything that you want.
