  • My cat has several strange quirks, but that’s what make her so lovely.

Sometimes she likes to get in the bathroom while I wash myself. She is still searching for a way to take a shower without getting wet.

Even though she eats from almost everything, she is no Garfield. If only I could maintain a tiny waistline that easily…

She is incredibly fascinated by computer hardware: whenever I print something, she has to watch and try to catch the paper that comes out, even if once in a while the result is a paper jam. When she is in a more relaxed mood, my scanner and the top of my computer screen are good places to sleep.

As an indoor declawed cat who does not stay outside for very long periods, she never had the chance to hunt small animals until recently. I have briefly seen one mouse running in my apartment, but only one day after, my cat showed me that the undesirable visitor left for good, but in her stomach: only a chopped tail and head were lying on my floor. I can hear you say “Yuck”, but since there was so little left of the rodent, I can suppose that my cat had the opposite reaction towards her first mouse steak.

My cat had her birthday recently, but even though she has gotten a little lady-like with adulthood, she did not lose her kitten vitality.

    1. Oh my! I don’t know which is worse, seeing the mouse roaming through the apartment or seeing the mouse leftovers your cat left you. Well, at least, you know your place will not be overcomed by mice.

I hope you are enjoying your spring. It’s a beautiful time of year.
