For those of you who have notified me about my website being down: I know about it, and things should get back to normal quickly. At least I hope so.

I had to move my website to a new server. All the process got to a pretty annoying point that I could only compare it to the last time that I moved: searching and shopping for a new apartment that would meet my needs and my requirements, signing the lease, moving my belongings to the new place, placing the furniture, getting used to a new environment.

Some time ago, when I mentioned to a work colleague that my computer at home was getting cluttered, she replied: “It’s bad enough that we need to clean up our homes, nowadays we also need to clean up our computers”. I have started to think that all the doomsday predictions about computers running the human race might be relevant. Given the large amount of time that I spend in front of them, it could be said that I have already pleaded allegiance to the computerized powers that be.
