The main thing about Linux is that the problems are up in the air for every one to see and fix and not hidden behind layers of corporate copyright protection and technological gimmicks to lock up the technology so it won’t be understood or “stolen” as they say…
The thing is when something in Linux breaks you have tons of people helping you by googling forums, email exchanges, technical documentation, ask the developer, maintainer and everything else…
When you get it to work though it will give you a long term of good service…
When proprietary systems breaks you end up in a frustrating no help, no solution, give up and buy the new version situation.
The openness of Linux is a little like these wonderful escort sites I have stumbled upon…too bad I am way to far away to personally meet any of these very interesting people.

Hello Miguel
Sorry for taking some time to approve your comment.
That will be the first time I see Linux compared to escort websites, but there’s a first for everything, I guess!
