  • After watching the movie “Call me: The Rise and Fall of Heidi Fleiss”, I understood the feminists who complain that this profession is overglamorized in the media (although they complain for the wrong reasons). A good part of the film focuses on the ladies who are shopping until they drop, meet gentlemen from upscale neighbourhoods, travel in luxury cars, fly around the world in private jets and wait for calls in a private swimming pool. Very little is shown about the workings of this industry: how to prepare for an appointment, what qualities are needed to become successful, how to stay safe and avoid unpleasant situations. (more…)
