  • Tell me what a man finds sexually attractive and I will tell you his entire philosophy of life. Show me the woman he sleeps with and I will tell you his valuation of himself. – Ayn Rand

I remember a particular day at work. It was an ordinary day: I went to the office and started working on various projects that I needed to complete. All of a sudden, things stopped. The company’s computer network shut down entirely, we were told, so all of our offices had the same problem. The whole company was paralyzed. (more…)

Old Montreal is known for its many quality restaurants. Over the last few years, the area which was known solely as a tourist spot established itself as a hotbed of art galleries.

A walk on those streets during the summer is one activity I really enjoy. (more…)

Making “behind-the-scene” changes to my website has been easier than expected. I have yet to notice any bugs or inconsistencies.

Things could have been even quicker though. I spent an extra two hours trying to solve a layout problem before figuring out that a closing brace was missing in my CSS stylesheet. It could be said that this is the online equivalent of searching for your keys when they’re right in front of you.

    :D

I will perform some changes on my website during the week that will cause visitors to experience some down time.

My pages could look funny, but any disruption should not last for very long. My blog feeds will change, so come back to update them after I have performed maintenance.

    Have a great week everybody!

Anybody who has ever been a companion for some time becomes so used to watching over her shoulder and reading between the lines that it becomes second nature. Sometimes it’s unavoidable to bring this mindset to situations which have nothing to do with companionship. (more…)

It is entirely wrong to assume that the other ladies who offer companionship services are in direct competition with me. I was once told that we are like artists: we all have unique features. I couldn’t have said it better myself.

Of course, some will disagree with that. Those people are generally unable of developing their own talents, so they think they will be in a better position if they put down others. The resulting impression they get of their “opponents” being below them is an illusion. It doesn’t mean their personal situation has improved.

True competition is about surpassing yourself, and yourself only.

The following question was being asked on a computer-related website:

If Linux is so great, then why its users are constantly posting about having problems getting their software and devices to work?

    My answer:

Because it’s part of the fun.

A while ago, I attended an event organized by Stella. It was very pleasant to meet several ladies with whom I have been communicating privately. If any of you is reading this, you know who you are. (more…)

Some people stumbled upon my website with intriguing keyword combinations. One of them that I found in my statistics was “can my declawed cat catch a mouse”.

Those of you who have been following my postings for a long time know that a cat is certainly able to do that.
